On January 25, 2015, Patommavat Thammachard appeared as guitar soloist with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, as part of the orchestra’s Concert in the Park, Series No. 22 in Bangkok.

Conducted by Rear Admiral Veeraphan Voklang, the performance featured one of the major works of the classical guitar concerto repertoire and marked an important concerto appearance in Patommavat’s early professional career.

The performance took place shortly after his return from the United States, where he completed his Master of Music in Guitar Performance at Indiana State University in 2014 and had previously appeared as a concerto soloist with the Indiana State University Symphony Orchestra.
